Mohamed Abdallah Mohamed Zidan was born in Luxor, Egypt, on December 11, 1981. He began his football career in 1999, playing for the Egyptian club El Dakhleya SC. After impressing at the local level, Zidan moved to Denmark in 2001, where he signed with FC Midtjylland.

International Success

Zidan made his international debut for Egypt in 2005. He played a pivotal role in the Pharaohs' victory at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations and was named the tournament's Best Player.
